Our Impact Story

ReliefMatch started as a student project at the University of Southern California. We were just a group of classmates passionate about using technology for good. What began as a classroom idea quickly grew into a platform making a real difference.

When wildfires swept through Los Angeles, we saw an urgent need not just for donations, but for targeted, transparent giving. Victims weren’t looking for random supplies. They needed specific items: jackets in a certain size, baby formula for a newborn, tools to help rebuild. ReliefMatch was built to meet those needs, in real time.

Our Chrome extension connects donors directly with the specific items requested by disaster survivors. No vague “donate now” buttons. No wondering where your contribution goes. Just precise, personal, impactful giving delivered straight from your cart to someone in need.

From local neighborhoods affected by LA fires to broader communities hit by unexpected crises, ReliefMatch is here to make generosity easier, more human, and more effective. We’re proud to be a student-built platform with a growing mission: bringing relief with every click.
